Replicating the early church, House of God Fellowship Church prepares people to have personal relationship with God; make them well prepared for Heaven, the city of our God. In doing this, we preach the truth of the scripture as the Holy Spirit leads. We condemn sin in all its ramifications; we proclaim righteousness, holiness, faithfulness, obedience and love in God’s word; we declare blessings and protection in God’s word. We believe that a person who is a Christ-following Christian should be the LIGHT of others; his or her ways and conducts of life must be an example. The bible is clear on the fact that God have no relationship with anyone in Christian faith who is living in sin or totally conform to the un-godly standards of this world. God gives true prosperity only to the righteous.
Today, some so-called believers has been deceived into believing that small sin and small righteousness can go together. It’s a lie! Evidence of positive response to the gospel of our lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is character reform and attitudinal change.The church must rise to the present challenge of un-godly, immoral, corrupt, materialistic and wicked acts commonly committed by the present generation.
A Christian must conform himself or herself to the perfectional image of God. Those who are practicing “it does not matter” type of Christian live are simply un-serious; they need a re-think and sincere searching of the scripture. |
